Mannie regularly advises clients on a wide range of commercial disputes including lending disputes, employment law, breaches of contract, misleading and deceptive conduct claims and franchising.
Mannie has appeared and instructed counsel in a number of jurisdictions including the Federal Court, Supreme Court, County Court and Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT).
It is Mannie’s primary focus to achieve cost efficient and commercially-focused outcomes for her clients.

IMPACT – COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
Ambassador of Veer Charitable Association – We are a non-profit organisation looking to veer (change) the direction in all aspects such as physical health, mental health and education. Each year this foundation runs smaller programs aimed at fundraising for specific disadvantaged communities.
Activist at Amnesty Australia – We are about demanding equal rights for all people in Australia with a focus on women’s rights, refugees’ rights and LGBTQI rights. As an activist I can be seen participating in writing letters, engaging in panel discussions and attending rallies.
Committee Member of the Family Violence Prevention Steering Committee – Victorian Sikh Gurduaras Council – Every week, at least one woman is killed/ murdered in Australia by her current or former partner. The purpose of this committee and its project is to provide a model for faith leaders, within the Sikh Community to become actively involved in the prevention of family violence. As part of our role, we conduct training programs, focus group discussions and a wider campaign on family violence prevention within the Sikh Community. This program is funded by the Victorian Government Department of Premier and Cabinet.
Communication Officer EMILY’s List Victoria – EMILY’s List is Australia’s only financial, political and personal support network for progressive Labor women in Australian politics. EMILY’s List Australia has supported 555 progressive Labor women, with 267 elected to state and federal parliaments. As a Communications Officer, I assist in social media campaigns and fundraising events to support pre-selected candidates.
Cyber Feminist of YWCA Australia – We are an intersectional feminist group advocating for a safe, equal and respected environment for young women. We collectively run online and in-person advocacy events.
Member of the Asian Australian Lawyers Association Inc (AALA) – AALA celebrates cultural diversity within the legal profession and provides volunteer mentoring opportunities for experienced lawyers.
